The Nigeria Olympic Committee, NOC insisted that Suspended Nigerian boxer for dope failure, Cynthia Ogunsemilore is guilty as charged after she failed to prove her innocence.

According to the spokesperson of NOC, Tony Neziaya, ” She was alleged to have taken drugs, and she was not able to prove anything otherwise.”
Naziaya dismissed Ogunsemilore’s claims on the test procedures which might have affect the outcome of the results when she was explaining her innocence.
“Those testimonies should have been given to the IOC, and she did not tender it there. It is when they are caught that they start blaming procedures. Her signature is already on the result, which means she gave consent to the procedures followed,” Tony told Punch Sports Extra.
He also confirmed that the embattled boxer left the games village on Tuesday as directed by the International Olympic Committee , IOC.
“She left the Games Village yesterday . She will be heading back to Nigeria, and she has to leave France,” said Tony.
The International Testing Agency, ITA, revealed that Ogunsemilore tested positive for furosemide, a prohibited diuretic, in an out-of-competition doping control on Thursday and Ogunsemilore Semilore was subsequently suspended from the games.
