Gbenga Ogunbote, the Technical Adviser of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, expressed satisfaction with his team’s hard-fought victory over Kano Pillars FC on Sunday’s Matchday nine fixture.
Acknowledging the formidable challenge presented by Kano Pillars, Ogunbote admitted that securing the lone-goal victory was no easy feat.

He noted, “It was a good one for us, it didn’t come that easy. We shouldn’t have expected it to come easier than it did. It’s a team that wants a point on the road.”
Reflecting on the missed opportunities in the first half, Ogunbote emphasized, “Unfortunately, we were too much in a hurry; we would have made the difference in the first half.
But be it as it may, the important thing is that the three points are in the bag.”
