The state’s male basketball team secured a remarkable victory, claiming the gold medal and further enhancing Ogun’s growing reputation in sports.

Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, CON was also recognized for his significant contributions to sports development in the state, receiving an honorary plaque in appreciation of his efforts.
Football Clash Ends in Draw
The highly anticipated football match between Ogun State and Lagos State ended in an intense 0-0 draw at the Yaba Tech football field, reflecting the fierce competition and determination of both teams.
The BATSWAG GAMES 2025 concluded on Friday, February 28, 2025, with a grand closing ceremony at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium, Lagos. The event celebrated sporting excellence, showcasing the commitment and talent of athletes from across the region.
