The administration of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has remained steadfast in prioritizing the welfare of Ogun State’s workforce by implementing policies that enhance service efficiency and career development.

This was reaffirmed by the Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, during the ongoing promotion interview session for public and civil servants in the state.
He noted that Governor Abiodun’s approval of the 2023 and 2024 promotion exercises has set the stage for the career progression of all eligible officers, ensuring improved service delivery.
Mr. Onasanya emphasized the importance of upholding the high standards and legacies established by past leaders of the civil service. He stated that the promotion interview process requires candidates to justify their readiness for elevation to the next grade level.
As the chairman of both the Administrative Staff Advisory Council and the Management Committee at different stages of the interview, Onasanya expressed gratitude to Governor Abiodun for his unwavering commitment to the welfare, career growth, and professional development of state employees.
He urged workers to reciprocate the governor’s goodwill through diligence, dedication, and commitment to their duties.
He further revealed that a total of 26,764 civil and public servants across junior, senior, and management cadres from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies benefited from the promotion exercise.
Some of the promoted officers expressed appreciation to the state government for the opportunity and pledged their full commitment to the “Building Our Future Together” agenda.
