In response, Comptroller Ojo reaffirmed the command’s commitment to partnering with the Ogun State Football Association to promote grassroots sports. He assured that efforts would be intensified to provide the necessary attention to the football team, currently playing in Division One of the NLO.
Impressed by Customs FC’s achievement, Ojo stated, “This is a feat that has been achieved as a result of hard work on the part of the players and the officials.” He revealed plans to write to the Comptroller-General of Customs for further assistance and pledged local-level salary contributions to support the team’s pursuit of national honors.
