Ogun State FA Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, Wishes Sports Fraternity a Blissful Ramadan

As the holy month of Ramadan begins, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, the Chairman of the Ogun State Football Association and an executive board member of the Nigeria Football Association, extends his warm wishes to the sports fraternity and the entire nation.

In a statement, Majekodunmi said, “Ramadan is a time of blessing and it is a special month in which God hears our prayer and directs our part during the fasting. So I use this period to welcome the month of Ramadan and congratulate all our Muslim brothers and sisters in the sports fraternity and the entire Ogun state and Nigeria.”

Majekodunmi’s message comes at a time when sports events continue amidst the observance of the holy month. He expressed optimism about the future of sports in the state and the country, saying, “I’m saying that God will answer our prayer, our sport will be good and it is a thing of great joy that Allah kept us alive.”

He also had a special message for athletes observing Ramadan. He advised them to monitor their health and be guided all the time. “Do the right thing at the right time,” he added, emphasizing the importance of discipline and commitment, both in sports and in observing the holy month.
