The Chairman of the Ogun State Football Association, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, has assured football enthusiasts that all preparations are at their peak for the much-anticipated Bet9ja State League Final.
The match, scheduled for 1 PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, will see Imisioluwa FC and Mission Soccer Football Academy battling for supremacy at the Gateway Stadium in Sagamu.

Alhaji Majekodunmi, who also serves as an Executive Board Member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), emphasized that football stakeholders from across the Southwest region and beyond are expected to grace the occasion. He reiterated that the state football governing body has taken comprehensive steps to guarantee a flawless and memorable final.
“We have put measures in place to ensure that we have a befitting finale,” Majekodunmi stated. “It has been a wonderful season, and it’s our duty to always improve on what we do as the custodians of football in the Gateway State.”
He also highlighted the significance of grassroots football development, acknowledging that it serves as the foundation of the sport. “Stakeholders in the game will be present from different regions of the country. It behooves us to strengthen the grassroots, being the bedrock,” Majekodunmi added.
In addition to ensuring a smooth event, Alhaji Majekodunmi pledged that the finalists, who will represent Ogun State in the Nationwide League playoffs, will receive substantial guidance and support from the association.
