Hon. Isiaka emphasized that the festival’s planning is a collaborative effort involving multiple Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), and preparations have now reached an advanced stage.
He further stressed the government’s commitment to maintaining and utilizing the sports facilities beyond the festival, highlighting that the infrastructure is designed to benefit the people of Ogun State in the long term.
“Our preparations are in the final stages, and what remains is to finalize the details. It’s clear from the ongoing work across venues that this will be a well-executed event. However, we’re also focused on sustainability—ensuring these facilities serve the people beyond the competition. We are building a lasting and effective sports system in Ogun State,” he said.
