Ogun FA Cup Final: ijebu United Coach Predicts Tough Game Against Remo Stars

Technical Director of Ijebu United Football Club,Hakeem Busari has predicted tough game against premier club side,Remo Stars when both clash in Ogun State Challenge Cup final.

To reach the final stage,Ijebu United defeated Abeokuta Stommer 4-2 on Penalties after barren draw at the regulation time,while Remo Stars walloped Gateway 1-0 to set up a final against Ijebu United.

The Ogun FA Cup Final would hold next Thursday at the Dipo Dina stadium, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

Busari in a chat with sports 247.ng, confessed that he has respect for Remo Stars but noted that both teams have equal chance to win the trophy.

“It is going to be a tough final for us considering the team we are confronting.We all know that Remo Stars are one of the best teams in the premier league and their performances in the league and Ogun FA Cup showed that they are formidable team.

“Like I said before it is going to be a difficult final for both teams and I expect a positive result at the end of the day,”he said.

Commenting on the feeling in the camp, Busari said his players are motivated by the management and they are in good frame of mind to do the club proud.

“In terms of motivation,I am happy that the management has done it’s best so it is now left for the players to reciprocate on the field of play,”he said.
