The Chairman Ogun State Football Association, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi has on behalf of the Association extended heartfelt condolences to Ex International and former skipper of the Nigeria National Team, Chief Segun Odegbami over the demise of his son, Oluwagbeminiyi Odegbami.

Odegbami who made 47 appearances for the Senior National Team, scoring 22 goals in the process, made the tragic announcement that his son had gone to the great beyond on Good Friday.
Alhaji Majekodunmi who is an Executive Board Member of the Nigeria Football Federation explained that the loss of a child is a tragedy that us unimaginable, he prayed that the Lord grants the Ex Shooting Stars forward and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“We Mourn alongside Chief Odegbami, a National Hero, His love for the game is second to non, his commitment is also unwavering even after his retirement, we pray that the Lord will console him properly and grant him the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss
He confirmed that the Nigerian Football Fraternity is praying for the football icon in this trying times.
