D’Tigress point guard Sarah Ogoke has stated that the Nigeria women national team will consolidate on the victory achieved in their last three games in the World Championship ahead of the quarter final game against USA.
Ogoke told Sports247.ng that Nigerians should expect a D’Tigress side that will be motivated to come out with even more energy against the Americans because of the team’s resolve to advance into the semi finals of the competition.
“The competition has been interesting and fun filled for us. We are happy to be history makers with our performance so far. But there is still more to achieve in this competition.”
“We have a very difficult quarter final match against the USA on Friday. Our target is to consolidate on what we have done so far and march on to the next stage,” Sarah Ogoke affirmed in a chat with Sports247.ng.
The game between Nigeria and USA comes up at 11:30 am.
