A renowned sports journalist and CEO of Topsportsafrik, Ogo Clarkson, has felicitated with the newly elected executives and members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Edo State chapter.

Clarkson, former Deputy Secretary of SWAN, praised the National SWAN President, Isaiah Benjamin, and his team for their ability to resolve the Edo State election disputes peacefully and supervised a peaceful electoral process which enthroned Comrade Kehinde Osagiede as chairman of Edo State chapter
He urged Chairman Kenhinde Osagiede and his executive to adopt an open-door policy, consult association leaders, and well work to promote unity .
Clarkson commended SWAN South-South Secretary Joseph Isokpehi, Edo SWAN Football Captain, Salihu Ibrahim, and other stakeholders for ensuring a smooth election process.
As a seasoned sports administrator and former footballer, Clarkson expressed delight at Edo SWAN’s restoration, citing his own experience in the 2024 Asaba National Youth Games novelty match where Southern SWAN defeated Northern SWAN 3-0.
“I’m thrilled that Edo SWAN is back, and I encourage all sports enthusiasts to support Ken Osagede’s leadership,” Clarkson stated.
The Edo SWAN executives, led by Chairman Kehinde Osagiede, has pledged to revive the state’s sports landscape and promote excellence in sports journalism.”
