Northeast United striker Bartholomew Ogbeche says it’s not just about his goals that matters but is keen to improve as a player.
The veteran forward scored a goal to inspire Northeast United to a 2-1 win over Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League on Friday.
The strike increases Ogbeche’s league tally to seven goals in the division.
United needed two goals at injury time to emerge victorious in the highly explosive battle.
“For me, I want to improve everyday, its not just about scoring goals but playing as a complete player,” he told Sports247.ng.
“We fought a great battle after they shocked us at home. It was a very difficult game. The late goals came at the right time.”
The former PSG and Willem II star scored from the penalty spot in the 90 minute of action.
