Nigerian female boxer, Yetunde Odunuga has disclosed that she still cherishes the bronze medal she won at this year’s 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
Although Odunuga admitted in a chat with sports247.ng that she was hurt not to win gold, she has already recovered from the pain of losing out on gold.
Odunuga added that her attention has now shifted to the World Women Boxing Championship, which holds next month in India and posited that she will go all out to do better.
“I was not happy to miss gold and settle for bronze at the Commonwealth Games, but that is now behind me and I am looking ahead to greater things.
“In fact, my attention is now fully focused on the 2018 World Women Boxing Championship next month in India, and I am 99 percent ready for the challenges ahead.”
