FC Zurich of Switzerland striker, Stephen Odey says he is staying positive of a vibrant end to the season for the club, despite their 3-1 defeat away by Saint-Gallen on Wednesday.
Odey scored again on the first day of the resumption of action in the Swiss Super League, but it was not enough to save his title-chasing side from suffering an unexpected loss.
The 21-year-old Odey led Zurich’s attack, but could only hit target after their hosts had already gone three-up, and he notched his eighth league goal of the season, only to be replaced two minutes later.
The result left Zurich fifth in the Swiss Super League, with 25 points from 19 games, but the former Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministry (MFM) FC of Lagos youngster is non-pulsed by the setback.
Rather than get scared or anxious about their chances in the unfolding second half of the campaign, Odey said he will continue giving his best and believes his side will roar back stronger.
Odey stated: “It’s been a good season for me and I want to even do more to make it a better ending with my team.”
