The Chairman Caretaker Committee of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) Mr. Samuel Ocheho has congratulated National Male Handball player Farouk Yusuf after he won the Polish Cup with his team KS Vive Kielce.
Farouk was available for KS Vive Kielce as the Polish handball giant comfortably put aside Tarnow with a resounding 42-20 victory.
HFN Caretaker Committee Chairman, Ocheho was filled with praise for the feat and believes that Farouk will inspire other young handball players to aspire for greatness.
He also reiterated the readiness of HFN to continue to churn out developmental programmes which will always produce young and skillful handballers like Farouk.
“Congratulations Farouk Yusuf for winning the Polish Cup”. Ocheho said
“This feat will certainly encourage other young Nigeria handballers to work hard in ensuring they succeed when the opportunity presents itself.
We are HFN are happy with his progress and are not surprised because he consistently continues to learn and work hard in improving himself.
We will determine in our resolve to ensure the continued development of the game in Nigeria as we will do everything we have always done and even more to discover and nurture more players in the grassroots to be world beaters”. He concludes.
Farouk Yusuf joined KS Vive and has been an integral member of the team.
KS Vive Kielce has now won their 12th Polish Cup title.
