Ace Fuji maestro, Alh. Abass Akande, aka Obesere who is also christened ” Paramount king of music,” has sent warm condolence messages to Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, aka Kwam 1, over the demise of his dear mother, now late Alhaja Halimot Sadia Anifowoshe, who passed on to the great beyond few days ago at the very ripe age of 105 years.
Obesere, also known as the Agbaakin Abobagunwa of Yoruba land, a chieftaincy title he earned as reward for his exemplary leadership and role as a musician and promoter of Yoruba culture, consoled Alh. Wasiu Ayinde in a condolence message signed by his media aide, Mr. Ibrahim Faleti, which was made available to newsmen in Lagos at the weekend.

The condolence statement reads in part:” I hereby console our dear brother , Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, aka Kwam 1, on the demise of his now late dear mother and matriarch of the family, Alhaja Halimot Sadia Anifowoshe who went to meet Allah to rest in His bosom recently.
Our mother was a very good natured, loving , caring and warm person . Her love for all , besides her children was exemplary. Her good natured, godliness and devotion to Allah reflects in her children with Kwam 1 being a clear confirmation of her great and godly virtues.
“While, we urge Alhaji Ayinde to be comforted in the fact that Mama has just gone to rest in Allah’s bosom to have reunion with us at the end of time, we pray that may Almighty Allah ( SWT) forgive her shortcomings, give the family especially Alh. Wasiu Ayinde Marshal fortitude to bear the irreparable loss bijahi anobi Mohammed Rosullulahi SAW Aameeen” he said.
