As National Youth Games enter Day 3 today, Wednesday, the results filtering in for Oyo State contingents have it that it was a smooth jolly ride for Oyo State contingents in the ongoing 5th edition of National Youth Games going on in Ilorin.
On Tuesday, in one of the Make events, Oyo State athletes won a silver medal in Gymnastics
Also, at the Judo event, Elizabeth Adesuyi outwits her counterparts to win the first fight and proceeds to the next round.
Addressing the athletes in the strides so far by the Pace Setters state, the General Manager of Oyo State Sports Council, Mr Gboyega Makinde charged the athletes to brace up for the challenges ahead and make the state proud.
According to the media officer of the Oyo State Ministry of the Youth and Sports, Mrs Olubukola Ibikunle, the Day 3 events would continue today as Oyo State contingents would be filing out against their counterparts in various events.
