Interim Coach of Osun Babes, Olayinka Adunola has said that she believes in all of the players in the squad of the Osun Babes team.
Osun Babes on Thursday defeated Pelican Stars 3-0 at the Osogbo Township Stadium after the game was rescheduled from Wednesday.
Speaking at the post-match interview after the win, Adunola said she has faith in all of her players.
“I believe in all of my players. They are always ready to deliver, I believe in building all of my players in goal scoring and that’s exactly what we have been doing.”
Lauding the performance of Yemisi Samuel who scored two goals and Abibat Agbaji who got an assist, Adunola said both players are at their best.
“To me, Yemisi is a spectacular player, anytime any day she’s ready to deliver for the team. Abibat also is a good player, both players are at their best and if they keep their form, they will go higher and help us go higher.”
On keeping a clean sheet after conceding three goals last week, the coach praised the defenders for learning from their mistakes.
“The defense was so good today. We corrected all the mistakes we made in the last game, I give kudos to the defenders for taking to corrections. We kept pressing for the ball and there’s no error. Very soon we will get there defensively.”
Adunola now has two wins in three games in her first season in the NWFL.
