The match which was played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Onikan Lagos saw the Lagos based team lost for the first time this season playing in their fans.
Emmanuel speaking after the match beared his mind on the reason for the big loss as Bayelsa Queens FC cemented their stay at the top log in group B and remain unbeaten after matchday six.
“First, we lost to a better side. They are more experienced.” Besides our girls were wasteful in front of goals but I can’t blame them because they are still very young and they need to be encouraged to get better and I am sure we will get in the second stanza, it’s a work in progress”.
The proprietor said Robo Queens FC did not have the financial muscle to compete with the government owned clubs in terms of signing experienced players, they wanted to sign.
Oshaon said: ” As a private owned team, it is not easy to rub shoulders with the government owned teams.
“We don’t have the financial muscles to sign experience good players, we could have signed to beef the squad.”
He however called on the management of the league to get a sponsor as it’s more tasking for the team, playing in the league without a sponsor.
“The league management need to get a sponsor because running the league without funds is tasking.” Oshaon concluded.
Robo Queens have lost 3 matches out of the six played with 2 victories and a draw, amassing just seven points after six matches.
