Solaty Fatimoh, the resilient Captain of Dannaz Ladies, shared her thoughts on the goalless draw against Nasarawa Amazons in Wednesday’s match.
In a post-match statement, Fatimoh expressed satisfaction with her team’s performance against one of the best teams in Nigeria.
“It was not a bad one. We tried our best. We talked to ourselves before the game to give everything we had. We were told that we were playing against one of the best teams in Nigeria.
So we came all out to also prove that we are also one of the best. Every team is strong in their own way. It was not a bad game,” said Fatimoh.
Acknowledging the strength of her teammates, Fatimoh stated, “My teammates performed very well. We are not there yet, but we are getting somewhere.”
