The Management Committee of the Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, headed by Aisha Falode, will on Thursday, March 5, 2020 host the official unveiling ceremony of the NWFL logo in Lagos.
The event which is the first of its kind in the history of women’s football in Nigeria has been scheduled to hold at the Meeting Room 1 at the prestigious Civic Centre on Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos from 11am.
The competition to design the best acceptable logo was instituted at the middle of last year by the NWFL secretariat in Abuja, and a winner eventually emerged some weeks ago in Lagos.
Earlier on, the winner of the best NWFL logo was presented with a cash prize of N100,000 by the NWFL Management Committee Head, Aisha Falode, in a brief ceremony in Lagos, and Thursday, March 4, 2020 was fixed for the unveiling of the logo.
