Nasarawa Amazons of Lafia will be all out for victory when they tango Bayelsa Queens of Yenagoa in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super-6 on Friday.
This much was provided by one of the Lafia-based side’s players, Lot Daniella, while reflecting on their Wednesday goalless draw with Bayelsa’s neighbours, Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt.

Speaking with Sports 247, Daniella says It was a tough encounter for both sides, but she believes it made her team grow stronger, hence her enthusiasm of beating their hosts at Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State come Friday.
“It was a tough game,” she recounted, “We gave our best, but it did not work.
We’ll keep fighting until we get there.
“We are still in contention for the trophy. So, we’ll not relent. We’ll keep on giving our best. We’ll keep going, and we know we’ll get there.
“It was a tough match that had many rough tackles, but the officiating was fair.
“We are not relenting, and we will keep trying our best. I believe we will win our next match.”
