NWFL SUPER-6: Edo Queens Efe Osakpolor Confident Ahead of Matchday 4 Against Nasarawa Amazons

Edo Queens Efe Osakpolor expressed strong optimism about her team’s chances in the NWFL Super 6, particularly their upcoming Matchday 4 clash against Nasarawa Amazons.

Speaking in a post-match interview after their 3-1 victory over Heartland Queens on Matchday 3, Efe was confident her team could ultimately clinch the trophy.

When asked about the four goals conceded over three games, Osakpolor remained unfazed: “It’s a game of football. At times, you put in all your best to win. But things will not work the way you expect.

We were very sad about our loss. That is why after the last game against Rivers Angels, we went back to our drawing board.

Our coach always tells us that after a match, we should forget about it and think about the next game. And how we are going to play. What we are going to do. I believe in our next game, we are going to bounce back. We won’t concede again.”

Looking ahead to their remaining matches, Osakpolor conveyed strong confidence: “We are very confident we are not here to play at all. We are very confident.”

Reflecting on their motivation following a disappointing performance in Asaba last year, Efe Osakpolor emphasized their determination:

“At Asaba last year, it was really a bad moment for us and very painful. So we told ourselves that what happened the last time will not repeat. That’s why we are putting in everything we have to win this.”

With their sights set on victory, Edo Queens are gearing up to deliver a strong performance in their remaining matches and secure the NWFL Super 6 trophy.
