Following their narrow 0-1 loss to Bayelsa Queens on Matchday 2 of the NWFL Super 6, Coach Christopher Danjuma of Nasarawa Amazons shared his insights and emotions in a post-match interview.
Acknowledging the inherent uncertainties of football, Danjuma stated, “There is nothing new that happened here that has not happened in games.
You can lose at the end or beginning of the game.” Despite this setback, he remains optimistic about his team’s chances.
When asked if Nasarawa Amazons are still in contention for the title, Danjuma confidently replied, “If we were not in contention, we would not have qualified for the Super 6. We are here to fight till the end because anything can happen.”
Addressing the team’s current goal-scoring challenges, Danjuma emphasized, “As it is, there is no team that does not have a flaw. We will keep working on ours.”
His unwavering commitment to guiding Nasarawa Amazons through the upcoming challenges reflects determination and a focus on continuous improvement.
