This year’s Super-6 premiership decider of the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL) will commence on Saturday, with all matches set to be beamed LIVE by Sports247.

This is sequel to a collaborative agreement between Sports 247 and the NWFL organisers, who have outlined a schedule of three matches per day at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Bayelsa State’s capital, Yenagoa.
A total of 15 matches are on the fixtures, spread across five days, with all six competing teams getting one rest day in between each match.
Action begins at 10 am tomorrow Saturday 18th of May 2024, with Confluence Queens of Kogi State battling Edo Queens of Benin City.
The opening day’s second match will be Nasarawa Amazons of Nasarawa State versus Heartland Queens of Imo State at 12 noon, after which the host side, Bayelsa Queens tango Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt in a south-south derby at 2 pm.
Promotional flyers being distributed ahead of Saturday’s kick-off revealed: “NWFL, in collaboration with Sports 247, will bring all Super-6 matches LIVE ON TV.
(There will be) 3 matches daily, 5 match days, 15 matches in all,” starting this Saturday, May 18th.
