Ibom Angels Football Club will play her last home match today, March 29, in the ongoing abridged league of the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership for the 2022/23 season against Nasarawa Amazons Football Club at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium this afternoon.
The Orange Ladies are currently occupying the bottom spot on the log, which comprises seven clubs, as they have recorded six points from nine matches.
They are behind Adamawa Queens FC, who are three points ahead of the Uyo-based side from eight games.
Their opponents in today’s match, Nasarawa Amazons FC, last week lost at home to visiting FC Robo Queens of Lagos by 0-1, and they occupy 4th position with 13 points.
According to Ibom Angels coach, Usen Ebuk, his girls are ready and preparing well to get the maximum three points in order to keep their hopes of surviving relegation alive at the end of the season.
