Nasarawa Amazons star Dooshima Tarnum has stated her main target for this season is to win the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).
The talented striker is having an outstanding season. In January, she was named NWFL Player of the Month for her amazing performances. She continued her fine form on Wednesday evening, scoring once against Edo Queens in a 2-0 win for Nasarawa Amazons.
Tarnum told reporters after the matchweek 12 encounters at the Lafia City Stadium, “I am very happy with my performances. I am happy to get on the score sheet and I hope to add to my tally this season.
“Also, all credit goes to my teammates because I couldn’t have done it without them. My goal is to win the Super 6 and lift the trophy at the end of the season.”
Tarnum is Nasarawa Amazons’ leading scorer in this campaign. The Solid Babes are in the running for a Super 6 berth, a super tournament held at the end of the regular season to determine the league’s overall winners. Their next game will be away versus Adamawa Queens.
