In a spectacular display of skill and determination, Solaty Fatimoh, the captain of Dannaz Ladies, played a pivotal role in her team’s impressive 4-2 victory over Confluence Queens in Matchday 9 of the NWFL Premiership.
After the match, Solaty Fatimoh expressed her delight with the team’s performance, emphasizing the importance of the hard-fought victory.

“I feel very good because we knew it was going to be very tough for us even though we are at home,” she stated in a post-match interview with Sports 247.
Despite the tough challenge posed by Confluence Queens, Solaty highlighted Dannaz Ladies’ preparedness and determination to secure the much-needed three points.
“We came prepared. We were prepared for it and we needed the three points because we have our target, which is Super 6,” she affirmed.
Reflecting on their previous match against Abia Angels, where they suffered a disappointing loss, Solaty expressed disappointment but remained optimistic about the team’s future performances.
“Our last match against Abia Angels, the loss was a terrible loss and we felt really bad because of the away match,” she recalled. “But in our own game, we believe we are going to bring out the points.”
Addressing their opponents’ performance, Solaty acknowledged Confluence Queens’ strength but noted that their performance on the day favoured Dannaz Ladies.
“They are a very tough side but I don’t know what is wrong with them today, but at least it favored us,” she remarked.
Solaty’s leadership on the field, coupled with her impactful goal and assist, contributed significantly to the Dannaz Ladies’ victory, reaffirming her status as a key player for the team.
