Ndubuisi attributed their success to divine intervention, stating, “In just one sentence I just want to give God the glory, that’s all. Because it’s not by our power nor our might, we just appreciate God for the victory of today.” She also acknowledged the challenges faced by the team, as some of their players have signed for Spanish clubs and are currently not around. Despite this, the team managed to secure the victory.
The Robo Queens captain, Esther Ndubuisi also expressed optimism about the team’s future, stating, “By the special grace of God, playing the Super 6 is sure.” This statement reflects the team’s confidence in their ability to continue performing well in the league.
On a personal level, Esther Ndubuisi shared her ambitions of playing football outside Nigeria. Having played in Nigeria for a long time, she now aims to sign with a club outside the country. “Of course I also have a target of signing outside the country because I don’t have the dream of playing in any team here in Nigeria anymore,” she said.
This interview highlights the spirit of the Robo Queens – a team that gives credit to divine grace, values development, and harbors ambitions of international success. As they continue their journey in the NWFL, they remain a team to watch.
