The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has issued a firm statement cautioning the public against the unauthorized use of its official logo to promote individual or group activities without its involvement or consent.
In the announcement, the NWFL expressed concern over the increasing misuse of its logo by certain individuals and organizations, labeling such actions as violations of intellectual property laws.
“The NWFL logo is a registered trademark,” the league emphasized. “Any unauthorized use of it is illegal, and we will take legal action against any individual or group found guilty of such infringement.”
The league urged the public to respect intellectual property rights and refrain from using its logo without prior authorization.
This strong stance underscores the NWFL’s commitment to protecting its brand and maintaining the integrity of women’s football in Nigeria.
The league also thanked the public for their cooperation in safeguarding its trademark and reputation.
