Head coach of Ibom Angels, Usen Ebuk has bemoaned his side lack of experienced players in the team coupled with low squad depth as he pleads with club management for reinforcements in bid to resuscitate thier NWFL good standing chances.
Ibom Angels have only won one out of four league games since the season started in Group B which consist of Nassarawa Amazons, Edo Queens, Adamawa Queens, Confluence Queens and FC Robo Queens and conceding nine goals in the process.
Usen revealed that it’s worrisome when you concede such amount of goals in less games but explained that it’s not all about the defensive line.
“There’s what I call improvision as a coach, I’m trying to improvise, I don’t have what I’m supposed to have to build the defense line but what I have is what I’m working with but I’m believing that with time as I said, we will get to the rudiments of the game.”
“We need reinforcements, when I told the management when we played the first match, the second match. I looked at the depth, we don’t have it and there are somethings I don’t want to say here due to security reasons.”
“I told the management that I need experienced players to add to these few ones so that we will have a good team to play. If by the grace of God, they give me good players even if it’s only five experienced players adding with this very ones, the team will fly,” Usen added.
“I need to just do reinforcements, immediately we have first round, we need reinforcements from the goalkeeping to the attack.”
