In a surprising turn of events, FC Robo Queens’ coach, Emmanuel Osahan Orobosa, expressed sheer joy as his team secured a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Delta Babes FC in the Nigeria Women’s Football League.
“I’m the happiest person in this country right now,” declared Orobosa, defying prevailing perceptions of Delta as an insurmountable opponent.

Orobosa attributed the team’s success to persistent pressure and strategic gameplay, stating, “It’s normal for a goalkeeper to do all those things. But I have trained them that with persistent pressure they will break down.” Notably, the coach’s animated encouragement on the sidelines reflected his confidence, even beating his hand to spur his players on, revealing, “And there is price money for that goal. That’s how we operate now.”
In a tactical move that proved decisive, Orobosa made a crucial midfield change, turning the tide of the game. “I changed the midfield. They failed to improve, and they have been playing all this while. I just noticed that they are not in the game. Immediately I changed them, and the game changed,” he explained.

Addressing the away draw, Orobosa emphasized the importance of respect, stating, “No, you can’t go to someone’s house and beat them; it is as if you want to get their coach sacked. The away draw is okay for us. We will qualify for Super Six at the end of the season.”
With confidence and determination, FC Robo Queens, under the guidance of Coach Orobosa, is setting the stage for a compelling journey in the Nigeria Women’s Football League, challenging preconceptions and aiming for success on the field.
