Destiny Etobore’s goal, a pull out from the right wing which went direct into goal beating the PKE Queens goalkeeper hands down two minutes from time surely earned Delta Babes a 1-1 draw after going down to a captain Mosaku Bisola’s goal in the first half but the major significance of the goal may not yet be understood until the end of proceedings today at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens were well on the way to earning 9 points with a victory in the game that would have placed them on the same points as Sunshine Queens but they would have been in 2nd place because of a superior goal aggregate while Delta Babes could have been sinking further down to the rock bottom of the log but in a flash, the equalizing goal came, greeted by wild jubilations from the Sunshine Queens camp.
