The board of the Nigeria Women Football League, headed by Aisha Falode, has sent a hearty congratulations to Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt and Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chimaka Nnadozie, on the completion of her deal with Paris FC to play in the French Division 1 Feminine League.
Aisha Falode, expressed her delight on the progress of the 19 year old goalkeeper who was adjudged one of the best at the last edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
She said, “Nnadozie’s move to a professional club in France is yet another milestone for the Nigeria Women Football League. It’s the result of hard work and dedication on the part of the player and the NWFL board that ensured the high standard of the Nigeria Women Premier League is sustained and made better every year.
Nnadozie’s progress is a testament on the improved standard of the NWPL.”
Falode, noted that with Nnadozie brilliance, the sky is her stepping stone in professional women’s football.
