The board of the Nigeria Women Football League, has applauded it’s chairperson, Aisha Falode, on the occasion of her birthday today, December 2, 2018.
In a statement signed by the board’s Head of Media, Henrietta Ukaigwe, the board eulogized Falode for being a worthy leader that has helped tremendously in raising the bar of Nigerian women’s football, in the premier league, pro-league and the three national soccer teams of Nigeria.
The board was further happy with the role Falode played with the Super Falcons that won the AWCON title last night for a record ninth time, especially with four NWFL players featuring in the final match against South Africa.
The NWFL board wished Aisha Falode long life and prosperity as she age with grace.
