Head Coach of Delta Queens, Tosan Blankson has revealed that his team are ready to face the battle head on when they host Naija Ratels tomorrow Wednesday at thier home ground in Delta.
Coach Bankole Olowookeere and his Abuja based ladies will face Delta Queens tomorrow as they both are in Group A which is made up of Defending Champions, Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, Heartland Queens, Royal Queens, and Osun Babes.
Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated encounter, Tosan Blankson admitted that the opponent are a strong side, “Naija Ratels is a team to be reckoned with as we speak of in NWFL and Coach Bankole has worked himself to a statute that he should be respected in the game.”
“For now, I’m not looking at his pedigree, what matters most is the maximum three points,” he brutally stated.
On if being at home will be an advantage to them, “There’s nothing like home or away in football. What matters most is the task to prepare your team for the challenge ahead of your match.”
Revealing of his team’s approach to the game tomorrow, “Every match is not the same approach, definitely we will be looking at a better way we can approach the game for us to get the needed result,” he concluded.
Delta Queens are the leaders in Group A having won three games in three and will be hoping to keep on to thier perfect start to the season when they host Naija Ratels tomorrow.
