Head coach of Delta Queens, Tosan Blankson has admitted that the pressure is on his team to win the Super Six as this is the ultimate goal as set by the girls before the start of the season with the Nigerian Women Football League gradually coming to an end.
Delta Queens are the only unbeaten side with a perfect streak of record in the NWFL this season and are also the first side to qualify for the ‘Super Six’ as they sit pretty comfortable on top of Group A standings.
The tactician allayed that the pressure is tough on the girls as they still have three matches to play, Sports247.ng writes.
“The pressure is seriously on the girls to win the Super Sis and I know surely that they will achieve that feat.”
“They know what is in the tunnel and their focus right now is on the super six which is very important to us because, they are aware that playing super 6 is achievable already irrespective of having 3 matches to go in the regular season,” he concluded.
