Highly flying Tosan Blankson Delta Queens are confident of victory against Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens as they will be traveling away consecutively for the clashes in bid to hold on to top spot in Group A.
Two daunting task ahead of the girls who have maintained a perfect start to the season following thier victory against Naija Ratels to remain top of their group.
Speaking ahead of the crucial games, Tosan Blankson said, “we have two away matches now from Rivers United to Yenagoa. We have to take our chances right in training so that we will come victorious in Rivers and Yenagoa.”
On the pedigree of the opponent which they defeated at home, “they are a good side, a good team coached by the U-17 Flamingos World Cup coach so we knew the game will be tough and that was why in the first half, we tried to size them. In the second half, we got those opportunities and we used them.”
“We are going to Port Harcourt with a different plan and we are not going there to loose, at worst we get a draw but we are going there to win,” he defiantly stated.
“The fans, supporters should always expect the best from us,” Tosan concluded.
