Edo Queens Football Club of Benin-City will this Wednesday, February 15, 2023, commence the second stanza of the Nigeria Women Football League NWFL, for 2022/23 premiership season as they host the current group B leaders Nasarawa Amazons in an epic cracker at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin.
The Moses Aduku- tutored girls who have been on standby with 12points and 3rd on the table in Group B, are ready to play their hearts out to bounce back to winning ways having lost only one game at home to Abia Angels and winning two away matches against Ibom Angels of Akwa Ibom and FC Robo of Lagos.
As they battle the ladies from Lafia City, ‘Nasarawa Amazons’ in their first home game of the second stage of the Nigeria women’s biggest football event, the Godwin Obaseki girls will not leave anything to chance as they are physically and mentally ready to change the narratives in the race for the prestigious NWFL premiership tittle.
This battle between these two rivals is very important and crucial given the fact that both coaches are colleagues in the national team. It is therefore going to be an encounter where the technical and tactical knowledge of the two managers will be brought to bare.
Moses Aduku, is the first assistant coach to Christopher Danjuma, in the Nigerian U-20 Women national team.
