As the 2021/22 Nigeria Women Football League Premiership enters week five, Nasarawa Amazons FC will be the host of visiting Adamawa Queens on Wednesday, January 19th, at The Lafia City Stadium.
The tie promises to be entertaining as the home side will try to return to winning ways after their disappointing 1-2 away loss to Edo Queens at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, last week.
In their separate pre-game reactions, Assistant Coach, Olaoye Oluwaseyi Michael, and Team Captain, Mathias Josephine, told Nasarawa Amazons’ Media that they are in ready for the clash, vowing to devour their Adamawa counterparts.
At the moment, Nasarawa Amazons are sitting on the 4th position of the Group ‘A’ table with six points from three games, with a game in hand.
The die is cast, only 90 minutes of action on Wednesday will make the difference.
