Amiable Sports loving Deputy Governor of Edo State Rt.Hon.Comrade Philip Shaibu has told Edo Queens ladies not to play under any kind of pressure as they host Rivers Angels tomorrow Wednesday the 23rd, of December 2020, at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin-City.
The digital Deputy Governor gave this advice on Tuesday evening after his training session with the players. He urged the girls not to entertain any fear, adding that the whole State is behind them.
“I’m very happy to be with you in this special evening training session again, I like what I saw this evening, l also like the spirit in you girls so I want you to go into tomorrows’ game against Rivers Angels with this same mentality and mindset.”
“Again, you girls should believe in yourselves, do not fear anybody, and don’t put yourselves under any pressure, play your nomal game and don’t also allow anyone to intimidate you, be confident of yourselves and remember this is Chrismas period so let this match be a kind of Chrismas gift to yourselves, government and your friends.”
The entire management team will be with you at the Stadium to cheer us to victory and then we will all go and eat Christmas rice and chicken together. Just keep the high spirit on I wish girls the best of luck.”
