As the much anticipated Nigeria Women Football League kicks -off tomorrow Wednesday the 10th of February 2021, after one month of COVID-19 break, the technical manager of Edo Queens FC Rollanson Odeh is expecting to face a more aggressive side Nasarawa Amazons of Lifia at the late Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin-City a match that has been described by followers of female soccer as Titanic battle that will see two strong teams continue their rivalry fight for supremacy.
But coach Rollanson Odeh believed that the Godwin Obaseki girls will be fired up to continue their unbeaten run in the NWFL premiership. A win for Edo Queens in this all-important encounter would see the team move up on the log.
“This is a game we have all been waiting for, it is a game of our lives. Nasarawa Amazons is not a pushover team, they are coming to Edo State with full force to fight, we must not give them time to carry out their antics. We are approaching every game with an equal amount of seriousness. There would be no dull moment it will be 90 minutes of action.”
“Again we have done all we needed to do as coaches to ensure victory in this game. My players are in the right frame of mind, we are prepared for the epic clash, the two teams are tough, but we have our eyes on grabbing the maximum three points which is vital and very important to us.”
“Yes there is a lot of points to play for, but my experience in this job has shown that no team is a pushover in the game of football. We will fight hard to secure our victory, to us in Edo Queens, victory is sacrosanct.”
