Less than one week to the commencement of NWFL 20/21 football season, Edo Queen’s goalkeeper, Christy Ohariaku, has said that Edo Queens Football Club is ready to put in their all towards ensuring that they come out victorious at the end of the season.
The sensational Super Falcons first choice goalie who was full of praises for the NWFL board expressed happiness over the return of female football league action in Nigeria.
“I’m particularly elated that our female league is back. Most of us were already tired of staying at home. COVID-19 Pandemic has really affected our league timetable, but thank God that the league is commencing December 9th, 2020. We are indeed very grateful to the management of the Nigeria Women Football League NWFL.”
“For us in Edo Queens, we are ready, I and my teammates will approach every of our league game with an equal amount of seriousness because every match is very important to us. I know that all eyes are on Edo Queens, and we are the team to beat. Be it as it may, We are not losing focus of our dream, and we are not equally scared of big names. We are in the competition to win.”
