Chippa United, a professional football club based in South Africa, has recently reached an agreement with Stanley Nwabali, the Nigerian goalkeeper known for his impressive performances.
Nwabali joined Chippa United from Katsina United, a club in the Nigeria Premier Football League in 2022. The 28-year-old quickly made a mark in South Africa, leading to his selection for the 2023 AFCON tournament.

During the tournament, Nwabili impressed with four clean sheets and played a key role in Nigeria’s journey to the final, where they narrowly lost to the host nation, Ivory Coast, in Abidjan.
His standout performances not only boosted his profile but also saw him linked with the likes of Queens Park Rangers (England), Al-Ettifaq (Saudi Arabia), South African giants Kaizer Chiefs, and Orlando Pirates.
Nwabali has opted to continue his career with Chippa United. The club expressed their satisfaction with the renewal and highlighted his leadership and commitment.
