The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has congratulated the newly elected President of African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB), Bouchra Hajij.
The FIVB Executive Vice President and CAVB Executive vice president and Board member, recorded 42 votes, with incumbent Dr Amr Elwani gathering 12 Votes at the Congress held online from 24th-26th October 2020.
The board of Nigeria Volleyball Federation assures Hajij of their country’s unflinching support in advancing African Volleyball to greater heights.
The board said Nigeria is ready to partner with the CAVB in tapping into her wealth of experience.
“On behalf of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, I have the great pleasure to express our sincere congratulations on your election as the President of African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB).
“Nigeria wish you every success in your duties. Please, we want to assure you of our unflinching support in advancing African Volleyball to greater heights. And we look forward to working with you to strengthen the cooperation between our Federation and CAVB”, the board of NVBF wrote.
The board also congratulated former President NVBF, Engineer Habu Gumel for winning a seat on the FIVB Board of Administration
