The President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod has congratulated Sports Minister, Sunday Dare on the occassion of his 54th birthday, describing him as a change agent in Nigeria sporting industry.
In a goodwill message, Musa Nimrod described the Sports Minister as a dedicated leader who is an inspiration to sports men and women across different generations.
The message said: “I felicitate with you, your family, and the entire sports industry on the occasion of your 54th birthday.
“You are a great patriot; an exemplary leader who has contributed so much to Nigeria’s sports in less than one year you resumed office.
“Within the last two months of the COVID – 19 Pandemic, you have positively impacted into the lives of active athletes and ex internationals who have laboured for the country, not allowing their labours to be in vain according to the nation’s anthem.
“As an Elder Statesman, you are an ambassador of peace, truth, and justice. Even at old age, you have continued to be an inspiration to Nigerians of different generations.
Nimrod said, “During the COVID-19 lockdown, you have charted ways on how sports in country will recover and also putting the National Sports Festival as top priority.
“The Nigeria Volleyball Federation will continue to celebrate you as the pride of sports industry who has contributed so much towards not only bringing genuine investors to the sector, but also building confidence among sports federations”.
“I join your family and numerous well wishers to pray for a longer life and wish you more productive years as you continue to strive for a more prosperous Nigeria.”
