President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod has revealed that one of the national U21 players will be heading to Turkey for trials.
“I can confirm to you that one of our players that performed well at the Women’s Championship will be heading to Turkey for trials,” Nimrod confirmed to Sports24.ng.
“I wish her the best as she bid to become a professional player in the Volleyball game.”
“Some of the girls that took part in the Women’s Championship in Kenya will be heading to Egypt for a professional stints.
“I’m delighted with the development, it’s a great achievement for the federation,” he concluded.
Under the administration of Nimrod, the NVBF has set the pace including the recent U21 Men’s Africa Volleyball Championship in Abuja.
