President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria who doubles as the Chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, Chief Tonobok Okowa, and other major stakeholders in the sports industry will host Sports Journalists covering the 21st National Sports Festival to a novelty football match tomorrow, Saturday, by 8am at the St. Patrick’s College, Asaba.
Former Chairman of Warri Wolves FC, Moses Etu who loves playing from the right wing is expected to captain the Southern Journalists alongside his pair from the left wing, Gowon Akpodonor(Snr. Correspondent of the Guardian Newspaper).
Topsportsafrik CEO and Chevron Allstars Warri, Ogo Clarkson, who rescued the visiting SWAN at the last Youth Games in Ilorin, Kwara State, with his header is expected to lead the attack for the host region on Saturday.

The novelty match is expected to be played in the watchful eyes of the Secretary to the Delta state Governor, SSG, Hon. Patrick Ukah, Chief Sunday Dare, Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Evangelist Solomon Ogba, Hon. Bukola Olopade, Mr Sola Aiyepekun amongst others.
The National President, Honour Sirawoo who arrived this Friday said it’s a good initiative to promote peace and unity among the professional sports writers and to show a way for appreciation to the Delta state government for been a good host.
