National secretary of Teqball Nigeria, Ndudi Edede has said that Nigeria has potential talents that can dominate Teqball in the international stage.
He expressed satisfaction over the maiden demonstration of Teqball in the ongoing national sports festival tagged Delta 2022 where Victor Oyemade(Team Kwara), Nigeria ranked number one player emerged winner of the male single.
While speaking with newsmen, Ndude said they are serious work to be done to curtail the challenges facing the new sports in various state which include funding and human capacity.
He said there is favourable atmosphere for private investors to partner with the game organizers.
“We are taking our time to sharpen the man power or human capacity to improve how we shall be organizing Teqball in Nigeria”.
“Now is the time to meet up international standard”.
He noted that only six states participated in the demonstration game namely, Delta, Kwara, Imo,Kogi, Edo and Ogun.
While Delta state,Teqball Chairman, Mr.Marvel Dick noted that the demonstration game came at the right time in a bide to in-cooperate the sports into future festival games as medal scoring sports.
It became a glad tidings when Victor Oyemade increased to world No.18 after drop to No.23 from 12 for failure to participate in this years Teqball world championship.
